Safety Of LED Lamps



I was recently exposed to close range-direct viewing of an LED (white) Flashlight for 20 seconds. Would this cause retinal burns or other eye damage.

Yes if spots remain or LED was UV vs. Blue light. UVA is dangerous, UVB/UVC can cause blindness. Read spec sheets or manufactures details...get examined by Optometrist/Ophthalmologists

tears, spots and focus probems can indicate damage. We wear UV blocking glasses or goggles while working close-up...
